"Mommy & Me" swimming lessons are starting Saturday, and Evvie is ready! She thoroughly enjoys dipping her tootsies and splashing in the water. She'll also gladly oblige any encouragement of "KICK! KICK! KICK!"

In no time she'll be beating dad in the water just like her mom!

Welcome to the Yard

Evvie's really been enjoying the nice weather... the wind on her cheeks, the sun on her back, the feel of grass between her gums.

Mom's favorite catalogue came today. I let her enjoy it while I enjoyed my favorite rattle.

Dad was making funny faces and noises the whole time, but mom didn't seem to notice.

She really likes that catalogue.

This front carrier worked great for my cousin Ruby and my cousin Griffin before her. I Love it! I especially like being able to touch the trees.

Soon we're going camping at BSP. I hear there's LOTS of trees there!

We had a nice visit with Thayer, a grade-school buddy of Jay's. Evelyn Mae roped him into a visit with her charming blog pictures. We had a nice walk at Thorne Head and everybody enjoyed talking in really high-pitched voices.

Thayer had a fascinating silver bracelet that immediately caught our baby's eye. Evvie has asked that I post the following tutorial, as Thayer proved to be quite a rube...
