One of the nicest things about being at camp is our proximity to Evelyn's cousins, Ava and Iris. This afternoon they played together in the camp and in the water.
A website set up to track the "growings-on" in our new family.

So Evelyn has been jealous of the guitar recently. She doesn't allow me to play it when she's around- she sobs and says "no, no" and holds her hands out for me to pick her up. It's not that my playing has gotten worse or that her ear has become more sophisticated because she really enjoyed our Thursday afternoon jam as I wandered like a troubador around the house playing everything from "Old MacDonald" to "Highway to Hell".
When the lupins were in bloom about this time last year, we scattered Great-Grammie's ashes over her colorful plot in Turner. Up until then, here in Bath, we had not had much luck with lupins. This year, however, one grew up in front of the house where there hadn't been one in years. It is magnificent with 18 or more spires- the first few in full bloom now, with many more tiny ones to fill color into the coming weeks.
We just got this Lego Baby Play Train from Pampers Gifts to Grow program. (You spend enough money on diapers & wipes, they throw you a bone).
