Amy returns from California!Evelyn was a bit tentative to auntie's exuberant ways, but we have no fear that the two will be great pals in no time. In the meantime, Grammy took the opportunity to recruit Evelyn's assistance in planting some sunflowers in the garden. It's going to be a lot of fun to visit and watch the progress of the sunflowers of the course of the summer.
She also really enjoyed chasing a feather that kept blowing off of her hand. in the light breeze. She'd flap her hands and chase after it again and again. I'm not sure who was having the most fun- Evvie with her game, or the rest of us watching it!
Friday was the last day of music class, and we are very sad not to be able to take them anymore when they pick up again in the fall. Daddy's darn school schedule just won't accomodate the vocal stylings of Miss Evelyn Mae in the fall. The good news is Matt (the instructor) is playing a kids gig right here in Bath in two weeks. We will soooo be there.
