That's Not Breakfast!

...what sort of craziness goes on around there in the mornings?

Evelyn has been asking about the baby all the time. She's ready to be a big sister, and especially fired up about all of the new things she will be able to teach the new baby...from walking to talking to galloping to peeing on the potty.

I worry a little that after the initial honeymoon period she'll be disappointed at how little the baby can do, how much of our attention she/he takes up, and how much noise she/he makes. We're starting at a really good place, though, and nothing is going to change the fact that Evelyn is older, knows more, and will be looked up to by the new baby.

As the third child of twin older sisters, I can assure Evvie she will love being the oldest. The new littlest (is that a word?) one will enjoy being the youngest
(is that also a word??) better. Can't wait for the arrival of my grand-niece or nephew. Love, Aunt Beth
