Evvie has not been the happy camper this week. Monday required a visit to the doctor to check out her new fever and white spots inside her cheeks. Thrush.
We've got her on Nystatin for that, plus Tylenol and Motrin alternating every three hours to keep her fever down. I checked on her last night after being med-free for five hours and her temperature was 102.8 degrees. The doctor calls this a "mid-grade" fever and not to worry too much under 104. Easier said than done.
She's had no energy lately and has done a great deal of napping on our chests. I'm hoping the fever will snap tonight...
