Playing after Class
After getting revved up by music class, Evelyn usually does not have a carseat foremost on her mind. The venue where we have class has a nice garden area out back, and we have been exploring in the last few weeks since the snow melted. Today we picked our first dandelion of the season, and Evvie displayed her climbing skills by getting up on the granite bench. And then getting down. And then up again. And then getting down. (It went on like this for quite some time.)
She loves to be outdoors, or "soudside!" as she puts it. She'll often come up to me with her coat in hand and declare "SOUDSIDE!". It's far better than declaring "COUCH POTATO TIME!" or "VIDEO GAME!" or "GO AWAY I'M ON THE PHONE!", so we indulge her as much as possible.
She also proved her genetic makeup as being my own as she spent an exhorbitant amount of time watching and then destroying many anthills.
