Evvie's been reading by herself here and there lately. She climbs up into the rocker, asks for books and flips through the pages while babbling. Occasionally descriptive words come out. I've gotta say, I'm so thrilled at how much she likes books. We usually read to her for a total of an hour or so a day, and now she's reading to herself, too! I think the days of a flashilight under the covers are coming up ala the voracious reading appetite of Aunt Amy.
Baby Tai Chi?
This afternoon was beautiful, so we pulled the pool out of the basement and filled it up. The water was a little cold, so we just splashed from the outside while the sun warmed the water. Evelyn enjoyed tossing her cup in the water, fishing it out and repeating. We're looking forward to actually getting
in the pool tomorrow.
